PASSENGER FARES
I. C. No. 754
December 6, 1912

xxxxx Mr. G. E. Merrill, of Sacramento, brought into question the round-trip passenger fares to points on the Yosemite Valley Railroad, alleging that same were excessive.

xxxxx The matter was taken up with the traffic department of the railroad company, who refused to admit that the rates being charged were both too high when all of the facts in connection with the transportation were taken into consideration, it being alleged that the line was not making operating expenses and therefore could not reduce rates.
