Frank Drum's other Railroad
the
CHOWCHILLA & PACIFIC RAILWAY

This railroad is included because it involves Mr. Frank G. Drum, a long time president of the Yosemite Valley Railroad. Frank Drum died shortly after he bought the Chowchilla and Pacific Railway company. The author of this web site is not sure if Mr. Drum had plans of putting both railroads under one umbrella for economic reasons or perhaps somehow linking the two railroads.

The executor of Frank Drum's estate, his brother John, sold the Chowchilla & Pacific to the Southern Pacific Company and the named changed to Visalia Electric.
