HOTEL DEL PORTAL, at the terminus of the Yosemite Valley R. R., where stop is made over night going into and coming from the Valley, is situated on a high, wooded plateau above the Merced River, giving a beautiful view in every direction. On three sides of the building are wide verandas, well stocked with big, comfy chairs. The spacious office, with its heavy beamed ceiling and large rubble fireplace is very attractive.

The dining room is most inviting, with its well appointed tables decorated with ferns and flowers. The cuisine receives the most careful attention.

There are one hundred and thirty well furnished guest rooms, ladies' sitting room, gentlemen's smoking room, club room, and barbershop. The hotel is electric lighted, steam heated, and has hot and cold water in every room. Rooms single or en suite, with or without bath. It is under the personal management of Mr.W. M. Sell. Rates. $3.00 to $4.00 per day.
